Global Outreach

Go, Send, Support

The book of Revelation gives us an amazing glimpse of the future that God has in store, and towards which everything is heading. The Apostle John is shown the gathering of God’s cleansed and protected people:

After this I looked, and there was a vast multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language, which no one could number, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were robed in white with palm branches in their hands. Revelation 7.9 (HCSB)

At Northmead Anglican Churches we are convinced that the world – people from every nation, tribe, and language – need to hear the news about the lordship and saving work of the Lamb, Jesus Christ. We are convinced of the truth that “there is no other name under heaven given to people and we must be saved by it” (Acts 4:12)

Because of this glorious future and our powerful God, we keep seeking to send out and support Christian witnesses to speak about Jesus from within our own communities, around Australia, and throughout the whole world.

Serving Christ with CMS in the Middle East

W & S with their child E are currently serving on mission in the Middle East, to proclaim the good news of Jesus to those who desperately need to hear it.

In the Middle East there are many people who don’t know anyone who follows Jesus. As a family, W & S aim to serve in the Middle East to help individuals come to genuine faith in Christ.

Sam & Simon Graham

Serving Christ with CMS in Leipzig, Germany

Sam & Simon with children Lucas & Jemimah, are serving Jesus in the city of Leipzig, Germany.

Leipzig is a city in eastern Germany with a rapidly growing number of families who live unaware that they’ve forgotten Jesus. Many raise their children believing life makes sense without him and rarely meet an evangelical Christian who offers a different story. Sam & Simon are excited to share the hope of life with Jesus with kids, youth, and families in Leipzig.

Caring for Missionaries

We want to be a church that cares for our missionary partners in spiritual, financial, emotional and practical ways. CMS has helpfully put together a number of ways churches and small groups can best look after the different missionaries that they partner with around the world. You can find this information here, and continue to keep our missionary partners in your thoughts and prayers.
